Hello Clara Johnson.

The 910 Series PCIe SSDs is Intel's offering in the competition for best PCIe SSD.

This device composed of 3 circuit boards stacked one on top of each other has a TDP (Thermal Design Power) of 25W.

It is also possible to drive the power up to 28W via Intel's software for the drive to provide higher performance to it already impressive speed.

All that speed comes at a price in terms of power consumption and the higher the power demand, the more heat is produced.  Intel recommends a cooling solution that can move air at 200 linear feet per minute. If your current server chassis fans do not have the aforementioned cooling capability, then you should consider adding a cooling fan to your system.

Hope this helps!
