Hi Kathryn Masud,

There is no specific way to print a passport size picture using the Microsoft Picture manager. This can be done in multiple ways. The best way to do it according to me is as follows.

Using the office picture manager or any such photo editing tool, crop the required photo into the correct size and dimension required. And save this photo.

Now use microsoft word and import the picture into the word file and resize it to the correct proportion. Take a print preview to get a good idea about the proportion.

Now go to print( cmd/ctrl+p) change the paper settings as per the paper you wish to print on. I suggest a glossy photo printing paper. Select the right dimension and layout and hit ok.

Now print the picture.

Hope this works for you.

Regards,

Powel Jedei.

If you want to print a passport size picture, here’s how to do it. If your photo is quite big and you want to make it smaller, you can scan it with a scanner and adjust its size using Adobe Photoshop. First, prepare your photo by scanning your picture with a scanner then crop the picture so that only the photo is displayed and the scanner’s cover is removed in the background.

You can go to a computer shop to scan and crop the picture. Once the picture is done, download Adobe Photoshop CS2 and install. Once installed, start Photoshop then open the file you scanned. Once the file is loaded, press Alt + I + I or Ctrl + Alt + I to change the size of the image.

In the “Image Size” dialog, under “Document Size,” set the width to 2 and the height will follow. When you are finished, click “OK.” Press CTRL + SHIFT + S to do a “Save As” then save the file with a new name. Now, just print the file. You can go to a photo studio to print the file.

The standard passport size photo is 2 x 2 inches in size with a background that is uniform, plain and white, and free of shadows. Adjust your photo to meet the 2 x 2-inch size.
