Hi! I am just new to computer programming. My friend suggested to start with the easiest to understand. I need to know how to install MS Visual Studio 2010 or latest version? What are the system requirements to install this? What are the differences of VB 2010 and the old VB versions? Why Visual Basic? Because it is for newbie? What are the types of data that can be used in this programming languages? Is it flexible working with reports or databases?

Visual Studio is quite a good IDE for developers for working with any type of project or program. It can be used in many ways that no one can calculate.
Though it’s awesome, it’s a little bit complex. Its UI is for advanced users with heavy knowledge of programming though it’s allowed to be used for starters.
Visual Basic isn’t an easy language to start with as it comes with more than hundreds of keywords, hard to remember all of them and even harder to apply them in programming. Data types available in Visual Basic are described here.
Visual Studio 2010 is no longer available for purchase. Microsoft has recently latest release Visual Studio 2013 which is available in free version and paid version. You can get Visual Studio 2013 here.
