Installing freeenas from CD after a net book crash

My netbook-which I'm running windows Vista on just crashed after I downloaded an ISO file. I downloaded the ISO file  with the intent of putting it on a flash drive so that I could hook it up on some of my external drives. Apparently the net book has crashed completely. Now I'm wondering if after I pulled out the drive and hooked it up externally on my Vista computer, will it be possible to install freeeNAS from CD,  as I burned it to a disk with Active Iso Burner?

Hello Blainet,

If that file crashed your system when you tried to look it up using a flash drive, then you should be careful about installing it on another computer because it might be having a problem. The other computer might not have crashed down for nothing. I suspect that the ISO file you downloaded had malware or a virus embedded in it and therefore it might be also tragic on the computer you want to install it to.

I will advice that you just go back to the internet and download another files, and this time make sure that you check the health of the file, the leaches and what other people who downloaded have commented about it.
