Installing excel 2003 along with using office 2010

I am using Office 2010 with Windows 8 environment. I have a few files to be read in wk4 format that is not supported by Excel 2010. Can I instal excel 2003 alonside using office 2010? Will any configurations issues arise? How can I successfully do so, please inform me. Thanks

Installing excel 2003 along with using office 2010

Dear Aldo,

You should not install any Office package of older version like Office 2003 along with Office 2010. Sometimes it works if you install service pack 3 but consequences are there.

Microsoft has clearly mentioned that "Office 2003 applications are not compatible with Windows 8" .

Even Office 2003 official support from Microosft is going to end in April 2014. So, your system will be at risk.
