I use Comodo Internet Security, I recently uninstalled it to do a fresh installation but I got this error instead “Unable to install Comodo Internet Security, Error 1603. Unrecoverable error during installation" I do not know what to do next and I am thinking of reinstalling Windows. Any ideas how to solve this?
Installing Comodo Internet Security gives Error:1603
Hi Mark,
Here are some instructions for how to do this:
1. Disable Sandbox/Defense (Right Click CIS Icon >Sandbox/Defense + Security Level > Disable )
*This will allow the tool to disable and remove CIS and other protected/safe applications without interruption*
2. Download the application.
3. Run the application (as an administrator).
4. Select the product you wish to uninstall/remove.
