Error “EKRN could not be stopped” during ESET Smart Security 5 installation.

I am running Windows XP 32bit; I tried updating my ESET smart security. I removed the older version and installed version 5 perfectly. But when I rebooted my system, I got a warning from MS Security Essentials, I did another reboot but to my surprise the version 5 of ESET was missing. I reinstalled Security Essentials and tried installing ESET again but got this error “Installer Information. Service 'Eset Service' (ekrn) could not be stopped. Verify that you have privileges to stop system services.” Any ideas how I can fix this?

You are experiencing a problem with your ESET Smart Security antivirus. You are getting errors because of it. It is very easy to solve your problem. You need to do some steps to get rid of the errors. Just follow my instructions. You need to restart your computer in safe mode with network. To start the computer in safe mode, hold F8 key from keyboard. When you boot, you will see options to select from. Select safe mode with network using your arrow keys. Once you have selected safe mode with network option, press Enter. After login, start uninstalling all your antivirus programs. Reboot your computer then install it again.
