I installed iTunes software for listening music. I am also trying to install Foobar 2000 but the installation failed. I see that the software is running successfully by various people. But mine has an error on running the installation. I am using Mac OS X Lion.  The error is stating that there are some components that cannot be installed on my computer. What are those and how I can resolve it?

"Install Failed"
The installer could not install some files in "/Users/edrift/Applications/foobar2000.app/Contents/Resources/drive_c/Program Files/foobar2000/components". Contact the software manufacturer for assistance.

If the setup for the Install foobar2000 is installing on other peoples’ computers successfully but it cannot install on yours, then there might a problem with the operating system that you are using of the application itself. You will need to check the following:

That you are using the same operating system as the other people that have successfully installed that application. Even if the people as using Mac OS X Lion, you will need to check that your version is same as theirs because any slight difference in the operating system requirements may cause compatibility issues.

In case the operating system is not same as the others, you will need to search the right application that meets the requirements of the operating system that you are using.
