This error is the Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x80048820. The error occurs when your email accounts are not configured to the program ,i.e., you’re connected to the internet but unable to send and receive the emails. Some causes of the error are incorrect or failed installation or uninstallation of the software, power failure, consequences of a malware or virus attack. The Live Mail is integrated with IE’s settings, and if the settings get changed, Live Mail can generate this error.

Steps to solve the Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x80048820 : –

  • Open Live
  • Delete the existing mail
  • Add the new account, and check the “Mutually configure”
  • Set the connection setting to :

  • Incoming Server port: 995
