Hi all,
I need to know what is “Active directory”, “Domain Services” and why is it my computer, the reason is because Is I can’t print using my computer which is running with Windows 7(64 bit). The error that I am getting is “no printer installed”. I already contact the printer manufacturer and these are what I need to find on my computer to setup. “Active directory”, “Domain Services” I am really confused please help me to have my printer to work. Any help with that ? Thanks !

Active Directory serves as a database for network security and administration. It allows the user to store user accounts and password in a protected location to improve security of the organization. While Domain Services use to specify the data that operate through a permitted domain services.
The problem could be you did not install successfully your printer. Check your printer if it is compatible with the operating system you are using where some printer installer works only with 32-bit installer so try to look at the website of your printer manufacturer to see if there is a compatible installer that can work with 64-bit operating system. Also, check if you set your printer as a Default printer that you are using, to check that, go to Control Panel >> Hardware and Sound >> Devices and Printers. Right click your Printer (if it is visible there) and set it as default printer.
