I want to know the capacity of amiga 500 internet connect. I have a computer amiga 500 and never tried to connect some modem to get internet connection for my brother. I hope the amiga 500 unit is capable of handling internet connection. Share with me your ideas.

I want to know the capacity of amiga 500 internet connect.

A500 or Amiga 500 is capable of handling an internet connection with an external modem connected to the serial port. But the connection speed may vary and it may have a value around 56kb. Modems and other stuff are available at US ROBOTICS. I guess that service provider does have some supporting devices for your PC.

* Although you get the connection you should have a supporting browser in order to get connected. There are much more issues with that. The best thing to do is to visit the "amiga" official website and you'll find all the helpful stuff like software as well as drivers which supports your PC. Other sites offering software downloads rarely have software supporting your PC.
