Hi all,

I had setup security internet security 2011 but I saw 2012 is out. Then I had uninstalled kaspersky 2011by using kaspersky. However kaspersky shows me an error message saying that I don’t have enough access to the windows key.

Kaspersky Internet Security 2012

Error 1402.Could not open key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionWinlogonNotifykbIogon.

Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.

I have created an error statement with avptool2010 as well as send it to 911 kaspersky but no solve was made. I need to solve it. Please give me a solution.

Greetings! here's a step by step solution that I provide for you.

1. Go to run type regedit

2. Go to Hkey_local_machine

3. Look for the Microsoft folder click on it

4. Under the Microsoft folder look for windows NT the current version then winlogonnotify until you reach the klog on.

5. Once you have seen the klog on. never mind the right pane of the registry. Just right click the klog on file and choose permission. check and allow the privilege that you need apply and your problem is solved.
