Hi guys,

I received an error message while upgrading my DirectX 9.c to DirectX 10 for using PCSX2 on my operating system Windows XP Service Pack 3. It cannot trust a cabinet file.

Have you any idea for the error message?

Please help.

Thanks in advance.

A cabinet file necessary for installation cannot be trusted. Please verify the Cryptographic Services are enabled, and the cabinet file certificate is valid.

Hello King,

You will need to set Cryptographic Services to automatic ,and then toy can installing the program after that.

The following is a procedure to guide you:

  • Start the Administrative Tools utility in Control Panel.
  • And then double-click Services.
  • After that right-click Cryptographic Services, and then click Properties.
  • And then click Automatic for Startup type, and then click Start.

Regards,

Nicke

Hi King Lopezs,

You received that error message because direct X 10 is not compatible with windows XP SP3.

That Version of direct X is already installed in windows Vista so try upgrading your operating system into Windows Vista or Windows 7.

But if you prefer to use windows XP, just update your direct X from Microsoft download center.
