I have a problem here.  When I use Metadata 1.2, I'm having an error of "# /sbin/grub-probe: error: no such disk.  Auto-detection of a filesystem of /dev/md1 failed" using Grub 2 on RAID.  No error when I use Metadata 0.9.  What does this boot metadata error mean?

Hello, Mark! I can feel its impact. It’s a serious problem after installation. In I want to say you need to use safe mode of the installation. A code is needed to be typed to resolve it. The CODE is:

“fdisk –l

cat /proc/mdstat

mdadm –detail /dev/md0

cat /etc/mdadm.conf

cat /etc/grub.conf”

I think you can now escape from this failure issue. If there is more problem alive there, you can contact to forums where experts can help you more. But, I think it can help you. Best of luck.
