Hi Experts,

I installed Office 2013 through Visual Studio 2012 I got an error message

The procedure entry point _Atomic_fetch_sub_4 could not be located in the dynamic link library c:Program Files (x86)Microsoft Visual Studio 11.0Common7IDEdevenv.exe.

Please let me know how to fix this problem.

Hi Jamin, try to see this link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2703187/july-2012-update-for-visual-studio-2012-release-candidate.  Try to install Kb on top of your 2012 installation. Hope this works because there is no known issue on installing 2013.

But if not, there is another reason maybe there is spyware/malware in your computer.  What is your  anti virus? You can use and install regtweaker to fix that, go to this link. http://www.support-free.com/pos-r-exe-error-fix.html.

If you have anti-virus, scan your computer. Try also to check your RAM, because if your RAM is not enough, problems will occur. and also  maybe you have certain files that was removed accidentally, this can cause problem also.
