I got this locked hard drive error reading. The hard drive of the computer system with a windows XP operating system got this kind of error and how can we be able to un lock the hard drive in this case? Can you guys give me a step by step instruction to fix this kind of problem?

I guess you are getting this lock error when you try to access your hard drive. You can unlock your hard disk if you have enough privilege to unlock or lock your hard disk.
You can make it through MS – DOS command prompt. Here is command to unlock drive.
UNLOCK [Drive name you want to unlock]:
 e.g. unlock c:
After this command it will ask you to confirm your action by doing so you can unlock your hard drive.
There are few tools available on internet you can get one from HDD Guru.
