Hi Roberts A Raymond,

"Activation error. Server name cannot be resolved" error causes your computer is not resolve the DNS (Domain Name System) convention.

DNS is used to transform the www.kaspersky.com to a numerical system like

Follow the following steps and process the URL to IP address transformation:

Open a DOS window with Start – Execute – cmd
Enter: ping https://usa.kaspersky.com/
You should have a result like the picture below:

If you receive the correct information in the picture, please try this second step:

Open one Internet browser and visit this web site: https://activation.kaspersky.com/?ipcountry=BD&SSL=1

You should see a Kaspersky web site displaying many languages.

If the previous two steps do not work, you are probably infected by the virus KIDO (aka. Confiker), so you have to apply this procedure: How to remove network worm Net-Worm.Win32.Kido (aka Conficker, Downadup)?

I hope this may help you. Thanks!

I’m not sure what the problem is but I’m also having a hard time accessing the SureWest official home page. It seems like the website is down or something. Since the program is already installed and you are now activating it, make sure you can access the website and you don’t have a problem in your connection.

Open your web browser and visit the SureWest website and see if you can open the page. In case the site doesn’t open or is inaccessible, try opening other websites to further check your connection. This way you can verify if you have a problem in your internet connection are the official website is really not accessible.

If the SureWest website doesn’t really open but other websites do then there’s no way you can activate your program. Maybe you should try some other time or try other internet security applications.
