Hi Hall Allen,

Thanks for sharing your problem with us, it seems that you are not logged in as system administrator into the computer that you are using. You don't have enough rights to install the program to the computer. If you want to install the program then please log in as system administrator.

I hope this will help you.

Thanks.

Hi Allen,

Firstly I advise you to login in your system as an administrator and then install the Skype. Though the problem exits then follow the below steps:

  • The system or the user groups may not have full control on the folder.
  • To overcome this error right click on the destination folder where you are installing the Skype.
  • Select properties and click on the security tab.
  • In the security tab mark for full control and then apply. Make changes for both system and user groups.
  • Please don’t forget to check the permissions of parent folders. Because the permissions of these folders may also cause this problem.

All the best.
