My camera is a Kodak. When I plug the SD card into my laptop I can't read it using the Kodak software. How can I read the contents?

I have also used an SD card before from a digital camera and it is just like an ordinary disk that you insert on the SD slot. You can even use Windows Explorer to browse the contents of the card and does not require any software just to browse and explore the contents.
If your laptop can not read the SD card using the camera’s software, try browsing it without using the application. Use only Windows Explorer to browse the contents. If it still does not work, use a card reader to explore the contents of the SD card.
You may also try checking your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system.
