Is HTC Desire 820 suitable for HD games and apps?

Hello buddies, I am planning to buy HTC Desire 820. I am a regular player of HD games and I do use heavy apps. I came to know that this device has 64 bits processor. My query is whether this processor is suitable for playing games and using heavy apps? Please share your views and experiences.

Is HTC Desire 820 suitable for HD games and apps?

I guess if you are asking whether the handset can handle games or probably load many apps simultaneously, there’s no doubt about it. With its 2 GB RAM and Quad Core processor, I’m not sure how many applications you can run all at the same time. Here are its specs.

The HTC Desire 820 Smartphone supports 2G, 3G, and 4G networks and uses a nano-SIM card. This model was announced last September 2014 and was released this month, November 2014. It measures 157.7 x 78.7 x 7.7 millimeters and weighs 155 grams. It has an LCD capacitive touchscreen display with 16M colors at 720 x 1280 pixels screen resolution.

It supports multi-touch with HTC Sense UI 6.0 and microSD which can be expanded up to 128 GB. It runs on 2 GB RAM with 16 GB internal storage. It supports Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP and microUSB 2.0. The primary camera supports 13 megapixels at 4160 x 3120 pixels with LED flash and autofocus.

The camera features geo-tagging, face detection, touch focus, simultaneous HD video and image recording, and HDR. It can record video in 1080p at 30 fps and 720p at 60 fps. The secondary camera supports 8 megapixels and can record in 1080p. It runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat powered by Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 chipset, Quad Core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & Quad Core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A53 processors, and Adreno 405 GPU.

The pre-installed browser supports HTML5. It has compass, accelerometer, and proximity sensors and also supports Java via Java MIDP emulator. It runs on a non-removable Li-Po 2600 mAh battery with standby time up to 424 hours on 3G and talk time up to 22 hours and 24 minutes on 3G.
