HP Scanner problem-need to be fixed quickly

Hello,

I use a scanner of hp company in my office and it is recently causing some trouble. It scans half the page and the rest half of the page is empty. I do not know whether this is setting problem or not. Please someone suggest me as quickly as possible in order to solve this problem since it is really causing me a great deal of time and money.

karlos, have you successfully scanned the pages before? If yes then when did the problem start to appear? May be its after you installed some other software that caused it to malfunction. If thats the case, you can try to restore your windows to some earlier date. It will resolve the problem.

Other issue could be the settings of the scanner. You can recheck the settings and see if it is optimed to scan the page that you are scanning. For example, if you are scanning an A4 page, then it should be properly selected A4 in the menu. If you are scanning a photo, you need to mention it in the settings. Wrong page type usually causes half page scanning.

I can see that you are using the HP scanner, so you can try to download the latest driver for your scanner model. Installing the new driver will most probably solve your issue.
