How to use XAMPP in laptop and iPad?

Hello!

I need to create a website with some PHP files on my computer and I am using Apache XAMPP as my server.

I am using Windows 7 Ultimate Edition on the computer where I am creating it and I need to know if I’ll be able to access it using my laptop or my iPad.

I really hope you can help me because this project is very important. Thank you.

How to use XAMPP in laptop and iPad?

Hello Michelle,

For sure you can use xampp for creating your website and also using the MySQL database. Ensure that the xampp you have is a version that can run on windows 7 and then run the set up to install it.

Once the installation is complete, click on the xampp icon on the desktop and then when it opens, start the services. The services that you will need to start include apache server, MySQL, FileZilla. Make sure that they are running, and then go to the browser address bar and type http://localhost/xampp and then press enter. In the page that will open locate PHPMySQL and click on it. You can create your database and link to your website from here.
