I have a lot of messed up data and I need to set it right using a table. I heard that I can do this easily using normalizer in informatica. Can someone please explain to me the stepwise process to do this?

How To Use Normalizer In Informatica

Using the normalizer feature is very simple. Just follow the 6 simple steps given below; This is an example to manage a few students’ score from 5th to 10th standard.

1) Create name table and score table and import them in Informatica.

2) Create a mapping using name and score table.

3) Now, go to the “transformation” menu and select “normalizer” as the transformation and click on “create”.

4) Click on ‘done’ after the transformation is created.

5) Then, double click on “normalizer”, click on the icon and give the column names. Set the number of occurrences according to you. Click on ‘ok’.

6) You will have your table created. Finally, enter the data the way you wish to.
