How To Update Trend Micro. About Details

By default, Trend Micro automatically installs updates. But you can manually update too.

1. Right-click on the Trend Micro Security iconin the system tray.

2. Click on ‘Check for Program Updates’.

3. An ‘About your Software’ window will open, and it will begin searching for updates for your software.

If you want to update from the main console:

1. Open Trend Micro Security program.

2. Go to ‘Identity.’

3. Select ‘About the Software.’

4. The update will start automatically.

5. Close the dialogue box on completion.

For older versions,

1. Click on the ‘?’ icon on the main console.

2. Click ‘About.’

3. It will start checking for updates automatically as the window opens.
