Guys I don’t have Microsoft Project installed on my computer and I don’t want to purchase one right now. Can anyone tell me how can I view ms project files without ms project?
1) Using Gantter.com:
 Gantter.com provides a free online project manager which works similar to MS Project. It’s all simple to do, just upload and view or edit the file.

2) Using Project viewer central:
You can view the MS project files on your PC without MS Project installed in your PC with the help of Project viewer central application. You can download its trial version.
3) Using Kadonk live project:
Another standalone application that helps you to view the MS Project files. It comes with the features of viewing Gantt charts, tasks, and many other MS project data without MS project installed on your machine.
4) Using Rational plan viewer:
It works on all platforms. And is another free software which is a good alternative for MS project to view MS project files.
5) Using Project.to :
Project.to provides us with the options to upload, view and even share .mpp files online. It offers both free and paid services. You can delete files immediately after viewing them. Project.to allows us to save files on MS Project server licenses.
Other useful features of the project.to include change/version management, Collaboration, Email integration, Gantt charting, Milestone tracking, Project template integration, Progress reporting, Resource management, Scheduling and Workforce management. It is supported on almost all platforms.
