Need to solve an error that says printer settings could not be saved error 0x000006d9. Any help will be much appreciated.
If printer settings couldn’t be saved or Windows shows an error that the operation could not be completed you will have to go to the Control panel on the PC. Next choose Administrative tools and double click on the service option. Then locate the service called server and check if it has begun.
If you successfully installed your printer’s software on your computer and the problem now is that it cannot save the settings you changed, try running the printer software using the “Run as” option. To do this, right-click the printer software then select “Run as administrator”. This gives the program full administrative privileges when running. See if this works.
If this doesn’t work, try uninstalling the printer software then install it back. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it. Once installed, start Revo Uninstaller then select your printer software among the applications and click “Uninstall”. Follow the normal uninstall process. When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds.
This removes everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, close Revo Uninstaller then install your printer software back. See if this works.
