I wanted to know how to run chkdsk function on my Windows 7 laptop. I wanted to see if everything is working fine and do not know how is it run. I only know that it is used to check the disk. Can you tell me how to run chkdsk utility Windows 7?

How To Run Chkdsk Utility Windows 7

The chkdsk is, in fact, command and not a function. It is used to diagnose problems on your disk. It identifies the problems and attempts to solve them if possible. The chkdsk command is very famous and is part of a lot of troubleshooting steps you will see on the internet.

To run the chkdsk command, the first thing you need to do is open the command prompt. Open the Command Prompt from the Start menu. Click on it and it will open the command prompt. Type in the chkdsk command and let it run. Once it is complete, The report will show any problems that it discovered and try to solve them.
