How to resolve “Windows update error 80246005?”
Hi, Windows update error 80246005 specifies that the operating system is not able to save the updates at the Catroot folder.
To fix this error follow the following steps:-
- Go to Administrative tools.
- Double click on services. Type the details for confirmation.
- Go to Windows update service and change the order of the names column.
- Select either of the options from Start/Restart.
