My PC comes up with the 0xc00000006 error when I open Visual Basic scripts. My PC runs Windows 10 OS, and I would be thankful for the solution to this error.
The 0xc00000006 is related to some DLL and registry errors. Try to uninstall and install the app. If it does not work, go through the following methods –
Method 1
a. Press Windows + R on your keyboard.
b. Type Regedit and press enter.
c. Go to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows.
d. Double-click on Applnit_DLLs.
e. Clear the Value Data field.
f. Click on Ok.
g. Restart the device.
h. Start the App.
Method 2
a. Press Windows + R on your keyboard.
b. Type cmd, and press Ctrl + Shift + Enter.
c. In the black screen, type sfc /scannow, and press enter.
d. Complete the process.
e. Restart your device.
f. Follow Step 1 and 2.
g. Please connect to the internet.
h. In the black screen, type DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth.
i. Complete the process.
j. Restart your device.
