I am facing problems in using Google Chrome. When I open the application, it crashes with error code – 0xc0000005. Re-installing Chrome did not help. I am using a Windows 10 PC. How can I troubleshoot the error?
There are a few methods that can help to troubleshoot the 0xc0000005 error of Google Chrome on Windows 10.
Method 1
a. Right-click on the Google Chrome shortcut icon on your desktop.
b. GO to Properties.
c. Open the Compatibility Tab.
d. Untick the Compatibility Mode.
e. Tick the option – Run this program as an administrator.
f. Save the changes.
g. Restart your device.
h. Start Chrome.
Method 2
a. Right-click on the Google Chrome icon.
b. Open Properties.
c. GO to the Shortcut tab.
d. In the target box, type -no-sandbox at the end.
e. Apply -> Ok.
f. Restart chrome.
If the above methods did not help, contact the manufacturer, or use any other browser.
