I wanted to upgrade my Microsoft Office Suit from Office 2013 to Office 2016. I was able to do so easily by following the instructions I found on the internet. There is however, one issue that I am facing. When I try to launch an application from the Office Suite, say MS Word, the app throws appvisvsubsystems32 dll error and crashes. How do I solve this?

Whenever you try to open any Office programs such as Word, Powerpoint, or Excel and the program simply crashes after throwing the appvisvsubsystems32 dll error, this means that your appvisvsubsystems32.dll file is either missing or is corrupted.

This dll file is a Systems file and is essential for Windows to run certain applications. A corrupt or missing file means that it will affect the running of several programs. This problem might seem big, but the solution is relatively simple. The only issue here is that you are missing the said dll file. So to resolve this, all you need to do is download this dll file from the internet, and place it in the appropriate location. This will solve all your problems after a simple system restart.
