I have received an Alienware laptop from a relative. I noticed that somethings in it are running slow, so I want to perform a factory reset. Like when I try to open particular things, it is very slow. But the problem is that I haven’t received any of the discs with it. If it is possible to perform factory settings in an Alienware laptop without discs, provide the steps for it.

How To Perform Factory Settings In An Alienware Laptop Without Any Discs

Follow these steps to perform a factory reset on your Alienware laptop without using any disc.

• Click on the windows icon.
• Type ‘Recovery’ in the search bar.
• Click on the ‘Recovery.’
• Select ‘Open system restore.’
• Click a point for system restore.
• Click on ‘Next.’
• Click on ‘Scan for affected programs.’
• Perform a backup of the appearing files.
• Now, click the ‘Finish’ option.
• Close all the open windows and files to enable system restore.

If your PC is facing any problem while booting up or it couldn’t boot up properly, then you have to start the laptop. Press that one F key which is mentioned in the boot menu of your laptop. You can find it in the BIOS screen. Now press F9 and click on ‘OK.’
