Disabling the fast startup can help you keep the Acer Aspire numlock on after startup in Windows 10.

Method 1

a. Open Control panel (Search in the Windows Search box).

b. Search Power Options.
c. Click on “Change what the power buttons do.”

d. Uncheck the Fast startup check box.
e. Save the changes.
f. Turn on Num lock.
g. Restart your device.
h. This should work.

Method 2

a. Follow Method 1.
b. Press Windows + R.
c. Type Regedit and press enter.

d. Go to HKEY_USERS\Default\Control Panel\Keyboard.
e. Double click on InitialKeyboardIndicators.
f. Set the value to 2.
g. Save the changes.
h. Restart your device.
i. You should get success.
