How To Fix The ZM400 Ribbon Out Error Condition?

If you are not using the ribbon, you can fix the ZM400 ribbon out error condition by making changes in the settings.

Method 1

a. Open the settings of your printer on the printer.
b. Go to the print method.
c. Use the SELECT button.
d. Using the (+) and (-) button, select the direct thermal method.
e. Save the changes.
f. You will not get any errors.

Method 2

a. If you are using the ribbon, set the print method to thermal transfer mode.
b. Make sure the ribbon is loaded correctly and perfectly located on the Ribbon supply spindle.
c. It should pass over the Ribbon sensor.
