I want to add a CA certificate for HTTPs. Can someone tell me how to install ca certificate?
How To Install Ca Certificate?
Hello, let me tell you how to install ca certificate for HTTPs protocol that connects to a server. To install on Microsoft Windows,
1. Open Start -> Run -> mmc.exe (Microsoft Management Console).
2. Choose File-> Add/Remove Snap-in option. Select certificate snap-in from the left-side and then click “Add” which will get added into the right side box. Now a wizard opens, choose “Computer Account” and then choose “Local Computer” then click “Finish”. Now go to Certificate(on your local computer).
3. Now you can import a CA certificate to the desired storage place on your computer, but you can do it only by two possible options.
a. If you have a CA certificate, choose “Trusted Root Certificate Authorities”.
b. If you have the certificate for the server itself, chose the “Other people” option.
4. Now right-click on it and choose Tasks -> Import. Do as per in the wizard and now you have required CA certificate install on your computer.
