How are you guys? from the last few days I am facing the error “Internet Explorer not opening”.
Now I am not a guy related to computers so I don’t know how to solve this error. If anyone can help me solve this ASAP, it would be great. Thanks.
This is a general and easy problem to solve. You should reset your internet explorer by following the steps. Press Windows + R, type “inetcpl.cpl” and press Enter. Once in internet options, navigate to the advanced tab. Click “Reset” present at the near bottom of the screen. Check the option “Delete personal settings” when the new window comes forth. Click “Reset”. Now restart your computer and check if this made any difference.
You can also try by uninstalling antivirus software and restart your computer to reopen the browser.
The last method is to register the ieproxy.dll. To do this, press Windows + S, type “command prompt” in the dialogue box, right-click on the application and select “Run as administrator”. Once at the command prompt, execute the following command:
regsvr32.exe “c:\program files\internet explorer\ieproxy.dll”
If this command doesn’t work, execute this one:
regsvr32.exe “c:\program files (x86)\internet explorer\ieproxy.dll”
After registering the DLL, restart your computer and see if you can open Internet Explorer normally. One of the three methods should help you.
