Hello,

I feel completely helpless when an error occurred trying to connect the wsus server. When I try to open the WSUS Server, it opens for some time and then crashes giving this error:

It is also getting stuck at checking for updates for endless time. I have no idea how to solve this issue.

Hello,

I had the same problem as yours, but luckily, I found the solution. I increased the memory which WSUS pool users are using. Earlier it was 1.5 GB which was set by default. I changed it to almost 15 GB and then WSUS was working fine without giving any errors. After that, my clients were also getting updates.

You can increase the RAM by following these steps:

First, you have to open IIS on WSUS server, then just browse to WSUS pools, Application pools and then click on Advanced Settings.

On the window that appears, click on Private Memory Limit and then enter your new memory value for WSUS pool servers. Make sure that you put the value in KB.
