I use Windows 10 and I have not faced any major problem with it before. Today when I was trying to start a program, the system gave me a combase dll download file missing error. How am I supposed to download this file to remove the error?

Dll error is very common. DLL stands for Dynamic Link Libraries. DLL files are very important for your operating system to run other programs on it. Dll files are shared files and therefore, they are not associated with the software that installs them on the system in the first place.

To remove this error, you simply need to download combase.dll file from the internet. It is advised that you only download files from websites that you trust. Once downloaded, you need to place the dll file in the syswow64 and syswow32 folder of your system. Restart your computer and the error will be gone.
