I have a very simple question. I have no use of Hotmail. I only created an account because I was curious to see what it is like to use Hotmail. Now I cannot figure out how to delete my account permanently. Is this even possible?

How To Close My Hotmail Account Permanently

In a way, yes it is possible to permanently delete your account on Hotmail. But, on Hotmail, it is called account closure. You put your account for closure. This means that all activities from your account will be closed or terminated.

What you need to do is follow some simple steps and you’ll be done with it in a jiffy. First, log into your account. Now, navigate to the account closure page. Follow the instructions, check all the checkboxes and select the appropriate reason for closure from the drop-down list. Click on mark account for closure. Done.
