I have installed the domain controller certificate, and I now need to check whether LDAPS is enabled and whether the Active Directory DC has an SSL. How do I verify it? Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Hey there! To verify whether LDAPS is enabled after the installation of the domain controller certificate, go to the Start menu and open the Run dialogue box. Type in ldp.exe to open the Active Directory Administration Tool.
Click on the Connections tab and choose Connect. A dialogue box appears. Type in as shown in the image and click OK.

If LDAPS is enabled and you Active Directory Domain Controller has an SSL, something similar to the below image will be displayed.

If not, a “Cannot open connection” message is displayed. This indicates an error in the configuration of the LDAPS.
