I recently bought a new monitor for myself after saving for a long time. I took my time with it because I wanted to buy an advanced monitor with a nice stand. I know that my monitor stand supports vertical orientation; however, I do not know how to set my windows to vertical. How do we do it?
Vertical orientation of a monitor has become increasingly popular among tech enthusiasts and especially coders and researchers. The main reason behind why would you use a monitor in the vertical orientation is that this suits people who have to go through large vertical contents. For coders, it gives extra real estate to read lines of code with ease. For researchers, reading papers and articles becomes easy.
To set your windows to a vertical orientation, go to your desktop and right-click anywhere. From the list, select Personalize. Once the new window opens, you will see an option called “orientation”. Go to this option and change it to vertical. Save the changes and you are done.
