How to solve the problem of non responsive keyboard

I have a very unusual problem. My keyboard does not work in the system BIOS. It shows me the first screen of the BIOS but I am subsequently unable to use any of the keys on the keyboard. Sometimes I am even refused entry in the BIOS. After booting the systems works.

Hey Rhia brenner!

Ok so let me help you with your problem. First of all make sure that you are using a PS2 Keyboard and have not connected your Keyboard via USB.

If you still are facing the same problem then try a different keyboard and enter in the BIOS. Here make sure that you have enabled the Legacy Keyboard and Legacy Mouse.

After that try your keyboard, it will work in your BIOS. Also make sure that you have not upgraded your BIOS.

I had the same problem but I got it fix by doing the same.
