When I try to extract a file from Lotus Notes, I receive the following error message: Notes error: Encoded Data Checksum Mismatch-Attachment may be corrupted. The file or its corrupted version does not appear in the specified directory.

How can I get the corrupted file shown in the directory?

If the file you are trying to extract comes from a mail message, delete the whole message and ask to resend it with a new attachment. Or if it is a document file, ask the one who created it to re-create it again. The file may be corrupted and therefore it becomes unusable on Notes. For more information, visit this link.

Hello Martha Jones,

Don’t worry. Just reinstall latest Lotus Note client. In the DO a replace design on the Mail template server and should be checked on the server using the mail.

You should install Notes 6.5.5 or Notes 7.0 to fix the issue.

You can find Lotus Note from here: https://en.softonic.com/s/lotus-notes-client-6.5.5

Hope this will help. Thank You.

Paul Jolie.
