I wanted to see the source code of a web page but I don't know that even if it is possible. I have heard that it is possible in.

Some browser. If you could help me by providing me with the browser name and also the process of viewing the source code.

I would really appreciate a lot.

Thanks.

Hello Arnold,

Yes you can easily see the source code of any website in some browsers. They all have different methods of viewing the source code. You have asked for one browser in which you can see the source code.

So the latest and fastest browser in which you can see the source code is GOOGLE CHROME. Once you open a site in it you can right click and select the option ‘view page source ‘ here you can see the source code of that web page.

Thank you.

Best solution for viewing the source code and css of web pages is to install Mozilla Firefox (from this location – free download: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/).

Open Firefox, go to Tools (if you don’t see the menu, press ALT on your keyboard), and then to Add-ons. Click on right side to “Browse all add-ons”, type in the search field “Web Developer” and press Enter on your keyboard. Hover a mouse over the Web Developer result, and click on the right side to green button +Add to Firefox. Restart your Firefox.

Now you will see a Web Developer Toolbar with multiple options. You can view Source of the page, inspect individual element, disable or display CSS, outlines specific elements, display hidden elements, etc.

Viewing the source code of a web page is easy but it has limitations. You can only view pages that are using static HTML or those pages that are in plain HTML format (*.html or *.htm). Web pages that are in PHP (*.php) format are not completely viewable.

When a web page is coded in PHP format, you can only see the HTML tags and or elements used in the page. Other codes that are purely PHP are kept in the server and are not displayed as part of the source code.

Now, to view any web page or the source code of any web page in any web browser, just press CTRL + U on your keyboard. Alternatively, you can right-click a blank spot on the page and select “View page source”. This is the same as pressing CTRL + U.
