I downloaded an ebook of Automata to prepare for my internals. It is a scanned copy of original book. Right now, I am facing a very big problem as I can't search for a keyword inside it. Can anyone tell me, how I can search for keywords in a scanned pdf? Is there any way to convert it in editable form? I don't want to face this problem in my externals. Please help.

There is a paper capture plugin available with acrobat reader. Generally Acrobat reads texts and graphics separately when a pdf is created with a scanned copy. Using which, when we use the paper capture option we are provided with the facility to find phrases and edit the document as well. It provides three different output options like

1. Formatted Text & Graphics

2. Searchable Image (Exact)

3. Searchable Image (Compact)
