I have forgotten my Apple ID but am logged into iTunes from my computer. I need to restore my iPhone to factory settings. My friend told me that my iPhone 5S can be restored to factory reset using iTunes. Please tell me how I can restore my iPhone? Thanks.

How To Restore My iphone Using Itunes?

You can definitely use iTunes to restore your phone to factory settings very easily. Launch iTunes on your PC or Mac that was used to backup your phone. Connect your iPhone to your PC or Mac with a USB cable. You might be asked for your phone pass-code if you have set one. Select your device when it is displayed in iTunes. Click on Restore Backup in iTunes. You might be asked to update your IOS software. Do it, if required.

Choose the most relevant backup by looking at the date and size of the backups. Click on Restore. The entire process may take 10-15 minutes depending on the size of the backup. Ensure that you are connected to the internet during the recovery process and your device is connected to the PC or Mac by USB.

The process will be complete after the phone reboots and syncs with the computer.
