How to Reset Dvr default IP with Subnet Mask

Hi,

I am using window 7. I want to connect my PC to DVR box. For that purpose, I want to reset my DVR default IP address. Can anyone please tell me how to reset, my DVR to factory defaults with using Subnet mask?

Hi Gregory,

Unplug first the Ethernet cable into the DVR before performing these steps.

Try 888888 for your username and password because it is username and password that only works at the DVR. And you can reset your password by taking its internal battery if you have changed it already. Make it sure the power is unplugged and take the internal battery only for a few minutes and plugged it again. The day and will be reset to 1-1-2000 when you on the unit. Then use the admin to login and 000000 will be the password. After that you can change your password, username, date and time.
