How to remove trojan virus from my PC?Please help

Hi everyone,

I scanned my windows PC for virus actually I set the schedule scanner to scan twice in a week with Microsoft security essentials and found trojan virus in it the scan results showed trojan virus and wen I click to remove the virus it is not deleting or removing virus from my PC.Though I don't use internet much very rare then what might be the reason I got trojan virus in to my PC.Please help me how to remove trojan virus is there anyway I can remove it.

Hi,

It seems that you have been affected by a Kernel Trojan. You can try to solve it by using the following methods-

Scan in Safemode

• Restart your PC
• Before the windows logo comes up, Press F8
• Choose safemode
• Do a full scan using Microsoft Security Essential
• Remove the Trojan

If the above system doesn't work, try using TDSSkiller.zip from Kaspersky.

• Download TDSSkiller.zip
• Unzip the download file.
• Run the Extracted file (TDSSkiller.exe)
• Click on Change Parameters and check the boxes under Additional Options.
• Click Start Scan and wait for it to finish.
• If it finds anything, click Continue to proceed with default actions.
• Reboot if the software prompts you to do so.
