How to recover the old OS keeping the new Windows 8

Hi, I had Windows 7 installed on my laptop. But I accidentally pressed the button “replace windows” when installing Windows 8. I want to recover my old OS but I want to keep the new one as well. (As two OSs). How is this possible?

How to recover the old OS keeping the new Windows 8

Dear Adriana Thompson,

You can use both windows 7 and windows  8 at the same time. As I already tried it on one of my friend’s computer.I will explain you the process below and I hope it will definitely help you.To do the process first go to the Disk Management then to  Shrink the partition where  you would like to make room(space) on.After you have decided about the size of the disk , you should restart your pc with the DVD inserted consisting of the required windows.and then you would be required to create the partition in the non partitioned space and install the windows in the portion.After the installation is completed , The Windows 8 boot loader will be replacing the windows7 loader and you will be seeing both the windows at the preview.Thus,you can select which windows to use.
