How to Recover Lost Data From USB Storage Device

I recently formatted my 250GB USB HDD in error as I mistook the drive letter designation (D): for the designation of my USB flash drive which was actually designated (E:) . I tried using System Restore but alas, my system was only restored to an earlier time with my USB HDD still formatted. Can anyone please advise me on the next step(s) to take? Are there any software, hardware or service out there that can help me recover the data on the USB HDD as there are a lot of sensitive data saved on the HDD. Thank you.

How to Recover Lost Data From USB Storage Device

Hi,

 Good news for you there is software which can recover your all type of lost data though the HDD was fully formatted. It can also restore your file system and partition of your HDD if necessary.

You just need to download this software from http://www.filehippo.com. Name is “Recover may files”. Its free just download this and then install. You can also collect it from other source.

In here what you want to do. If you want to recover lost data then 2nd option “Complete file search “and click next. Now select HDD then select all category and click on start.

It will take long time (based on your HDD capacity). Then you can collect your lost files.

Hi,

 

As you wish to recover your file, you may refer to File recovery application in the web. There are lots of freeware that can be used regarding this problem. I advice you to download from sites that gives a free software for not to spend a lot of money to recover you files. Try to check first you HDD if you can track the old seeds that will be useful in the process of files recovery.
